The EMN joins the global community in mourning the loss of Prof. Brian Durie, co-founder of the International Myeloma Foundation – IMF. Prof. Durie was a true pioneer whose work profoundly shaped modern myeloma care, and whose vision extended beyond borders.

EMN President Prof. Pieter Sonneveld and Vice President Prof. Mario Boccadoro deeply valued their strong professional and personal friendship with Prof. Durie. His commitment to scientific research and patient advocacy was a constant inspiration for our network.
